Mancala is a traditional game, which is also known as "Mandarin Square Capturing", and it is the most popular game for girls in Vietnam.
This game is played by seven or ten years old girls and boys in a fixed game board with four rows and four columns. The players are divided into two teams, and each team has a different color.
Each player chooses one of the four available moves, and each move consists of a number of steps. A step is taken by moving the piece that is on the same row, column, or box as the target piece. A player can only move a single piece per turn.
The objective of the game is to capture all of the pieces of the opponent's team, by moving them to your own column, while the opponent's pieces remain on the board.
